Diagnose:
Dravet's Syndrome 2004, after seeing 4 Neurologist in 3 different states! Positive for scnia mutation

type(s) of seizures:
Tonic Clonic, Tonic, Myoclonic, Absence, Drops, Partial, Complex Partial

frequency of seizures:
some days 300 seizures, some days only 50 seizures

Medications used

Current:
IVIG, Topomax, Clobazam (her best combo yet!)



Previous:
Keppra, Depakote, Ativan, Lamictal, Topomax, Klonopin, Zongran, Diastat, Fosphenytoin and more!

Personal Notes

First Seizure at 5 months
At it's worst..
As many as 4 Tonic clonics a day (but rarely, thank God!)
Myclonics as often as every 5 seconds
6 status over 1/12 hours each
immune to Diastat..using Versed

Currently..(June 2006)
IVIG, Topomax, Clobazam!
